Install:

1. Lightly attach the velcro seat post strap, then loop the buckles through your saddle rails.

2. Adjust the seat post strap so it is nice and snug. Now, you can go back and tighten the saddle rail straps.

3. Closing the bag is just as easy: folding the sides and rolling the bag toward the saddle. Once you've compressed the bag, close the roll top using the side release buckle.

4. Lastly, pull the main compression strap up and buckle it closed, all while compressing and tightening the strap. Again, you want the bag compressed to eliminate sway and sag.

Great Bag

Well made, perfect sizing and capacity, exactly what I was looking for on all fronts. I was skeptical about how tight/snug this would fit onto my bike, but the multiple cinch straps definitely keep this bag secure and eliminate any jostling when out on the roads. A+

This is well made and just what I was looking for.

Very Versitile

I was looking for saddle bag to large enough to be useful for more than a few small tools and snacks, but not huge with a cumbersome attachment system that made it difficult to swap between bikes, and the Fred fit the bill.

Packs down small to get out of the way, but long enough to hold my longest mini pump, and spacious enough to stuff a no longer needed jacket or light sweater with lots of space to spare. I'm relieved to have it when I unexpectedly pick up some food on an adventure.

The side panels flex inwards when not full, keeping things a little tighter together for smal loads, and the floating liner is useful for cleaning and drying should something explode inside.

It is big enough that it might block your usual rear light position, but I've had success with using the compression strap to hold a clip on light, as well as for stashing a jacket for quick access.

Useful from commuting, to exercise, to adventure!
