Wedge Half Frame Bag - Bicycle Bag by Road Runner Bags

The Wedge Half Frame Bag is made to fit on most frames, most sizes, and up to two large water bottles on larger frames and one large water bottle on smaller frames. The Wedge is great for bike touring, bike packing, and any other type of extended riding where more space is needed. Use this bag on your CX bike for trail ripping, then mount the bag on your MTB for backcountry riding.

Install:
Configurable positioning allows for fitting on the acute angular frame geometry. It works on most bikes in your stable with the multi-point mounting system and the extra-long mounting straps. For MTB/gravel/cross frames, mount with the RRB label on the drive side; affix the RRB label on the non-drive side for road frames.

1. Install the three top velcro straps loosely to the top tube, then install the bottom two straps tightly to the down tube.

2. Go back and tighten the top straps appropriately. Note, if you have the bag maxed out, ensure the top straps are loose enough to accommodate the fill, then go back and tighten those straps for a tight fit on the frame.

3. Feel free to cut the extra Velcro that may be hanging off the side, but note once it's cut, it's not coming back!

4. If you're concerned about protecting the paint on your frame, install a strip of transparent Gorilla Tape to the areas of the frame where the bag and its attachments may come into contact.

Worth it!

I have a small sized bike so I have to be very exact about what gear is an optimal fit. I finally decided to go with this half frame bag I do not regret it. I will be purchasing a second one in a different color. It is very durable and seems to be well thought out. I can't imagine not liking anything about it. It's a simple design, it holds very stable to the frame, strong fabric, strong zippers, a compartment on each side, label placement is fine and the company logo is cool too ...this fits everything I intend to use it for. When I first realized I needed a smaller frame bag I searched around for a few weeks I couldn't make up My mind something was always off, when I found this company and this bag I knew fairly quickly My decision was made. As I said above I do not regret it I'm surely happy to write this review. Fast shipping too -thanks!

Great for what its designed for!

This wedge bag is great on my XL VO Piolet. Fits great and is perfect for a day trip. It will fit some 1 Liter water bladders but be careful. Very well made though. I love all of my Road runner bags.

Good quality fasteners to frame and zippers, altogether, quality all around. The only component that keeps me for awarding a full 5 stars is the size of the bag is slightly less than I was anticipating. W that said, it easily handles a spare tube, pump, cartridge, pry tool, but, squeezing in a spare clothing layer is prob pushing the avail space.

Exactly what I wanted.

Wanted a half frame bag that would fit water bottles underneath while leaving the seat tube bolts available for whatever I feel like. The dimensions are ideal, construction quality is outstanding, and attachment is simple and robust. This bag is extremely durable, holds a considerable amount of stuff and the zippers keep your items in and everything else out. Fully loaded, my knees don't brush on either side and it's more than secure.
