Old school ripper meets new school up grades!
Right off the bat, the first thing that catches my eye when checking out this 1995 Specialized StumpJumper are the BMX flat pedals and that Velo Orange Cigne Stem. But that isn't where it ends, of course.
This bike was made by Specialized to run rim brakes and 26" rims, but what do you see? . . .That's right, your eyes aren't fooling ya -- those are disc brakes! The wheel set is 27.5" with 650bx47c WTB Byway tires. A local frame builder, David Figueroa with Sunset Cycles, made it happen by welding disc brake tabs to make this StumpJumper ready for any adventure.
Let's not forget that the Gevenalle CX shifter setup works well with any of our handle bar bags ;)
Our Burrito Supreme just looks so comfy right up against the Cigne's curve.
Last but not least, every cyclist should have a place to hold what's necessary: spare tube, co2, tire lever and that trusty multi-tool. All of these essentials fit snugly into our Tool Roll which sits right under your saddle.
