My 98' RockHopper Rides Again!
Less of a Mountain Bike, nowhere near a Road Bike and you dare not call it a Rando Bike. I like to call it a good ol' time! I believe this bike will take me places that are undiscoverable to smaller tire bikes. Places that hikers avoid because of the distance out. Places that only bikepackers and backpackers know about and keep secret among them.
With its 26" wheels, upgraded fork and component set, this beaut is ready to tour. Now to plan a trip fitting for such a bike. Possibly a weekend in the mountains riding gravel roads or maybe out in the desert for some aqueduct riding. Did I mention the tires are tubeless? Now the possibilities are endless!
Paired with the new VO x RRB Rando Bag and you’re set up for a good ol’ time!
Wide ol' Velocity rims laced to a front Dynamo hub, Maxxis DTH Tires (2.1" rear, 2.3" front) and of course tubeless!
Here is a preview to a new bag line that we will be producing for Velo Orange.
This bag is made from a full 1000D Cordura shell backed by an 18oz Truck Tarp Vinyl liner.
There is a large expanding front pocket, zippered top vinyl pocket and the ability to attach a string of other bags to.
The Rear Disc tab was welded by Sunset Cycles in Pomona. The boys there really know what they're doing. Hit them up for any modification needs!
