1. Determine the correct positioning of the bag for mounting it on the handlebars. Ensure no cables interfere with the bag's positioning.

2. Install the top straps on the furthest out mounting points (loosely), then center the bag on the bars.

3. Install the head tube strap as the 3rd mount for the bag, which keeps the bag snug against the head tube and eliminates swaying.

4. For mounting on the saddle, check out our "How To Install," tutorial to install the California Burrito to the rear of your bike.

5. Shred!

    Amazingly Large Bag

This bag is really sturdy, and it holds way more stuff than you'd expect it to. I'm carrying a pump, spare tubes, tools, snacks, a drink, and my U-lock in this thing. Yes, a U-lock (albeit a small one) can fit in this, which is amazing since I mostly ride around urban streets.

Love this bag! I carries so much more than you’d think from looking at it.

    California Burrito Bag

I have had my eyes on a handlebar bag from Roadrunner Bags for a couple of years, and I finally got one as a Christmas gift for my All-City Space Horse. I can finally ditch the backpack and am able to fit phone, keys, sunglasses case, small tire pump, jacket, and whatever other essentials I might need. The California Burrito bag is big enough to carry plenty of items, while not overwhelming the front of my bike. I went with the burnt orange color, which compliments the racing stripes on my bike. Plus, it is super easy to take on and off!

A Well designed, high quality bag

A well thought out and well made, durable bag. The stitching is impeccable with nary a stray thread. The attachment straps are not fixed to the bag, allowing me to adjust to avoid stuff on the handlebar. The zipper is set low enough to allow easy access despite a large top mounted computer. I appreciate the extra volume over my previous bag to carry extra stuff during winter riding. My only niggle is that the attachment straps can easily fall off when mounting or unmounting the bag, but you learn how to avoid this the next time. And finally, it looks good on the bike!

Fantastic Bag, def worth the investment

Incredibly well made bag that's really tough and actually looks nice, which is rare! The cam straps are really secure, but can be a bit fiddly with having to thread them through when taking the bag on and off. I'm curious to try it with the voile strap upgrade to see if that helps. It makes a really nice crossbody as well. I do wish there was some internal organization, even just like a zipper pouch for keys etc to keep them separate.

This size seems like the sweet spot balancing capacity and ease of carrying. The most I've fit in it was: pants, clif bars, hard sunglasses case, phone, keys, wallet, lights, and two small bottles of sunscreen.
