Avery just finished the Tour Divide
And after taking the train from New Mexico to Los Angeles, Avery decided to swing through the shop and show us his adventure rig - a Salsa Fargo 29er.
We love rigid setups and this takes the cake for a rigid, loaded adventure bike.
Avery is rocking a Jumbo Jammer - Desert Digi in the front. Drafter Saddle Bag for the essential tools and a Buoy Bag as a top loader for his rear rack. Avery mentioned that the Buoy Bag serves as a waterproof/dry sack for his complete tent minus the poles, which he stores in a separate tent sleeve on the non-drive side of his bicycle.
Also mentioned that for the heated sections of the divide, Avery was able to attach two 48oz Nalgene bottles to the sides of his rear rack.
I'm loving the use of the Voile Straps paired with the Blue Anodized Velocity Rims. Plus that can of bear mace is a great touch as well.
If you've finished up a big tour as well and would like to share your photos with us, shoot me a quick email and we can get the ball rolling:
