Three Sisters Three Rivers Bikepacking Trip!

Three Sisters Three Rivers Bikepacking Trip!

Originally, our sights had been set on the Timber Trail, but mother nature had her way and downed too many trees rendering a lot of the route unrideable. We pondered Utah, but sizzling temps would have surely scorched our asses and sapped our vacation. Back to the drawing board...err group text. Idaho promised hot springs, but lacked in comparison to our forlorn Timber Trail. Maybe we'll pack a chainsaw, we thought. Maybe we'll cover our bikes in Anything Cages and carry enough water to brave Utah. Eventually one of us stumbled across The Three sisters ride on Bikepacking dot com. We were completely unfamiliar with the ride, but awestruck by it's beauty. The blog post promised unbelievable views and lots and lots of singletrack. After a brief group poll and a quick download of the supplied GPX file we reached a decision: all in. The three Sisters route links all three of Oregon’s famous MTB trails: McKenzie, Umpqua and Oakridge. We can’t wait for long days in the saddle, growlers full of beer, and the sound of dirt beneath our wheels. We can wait for the mosquitos.

Stay tuned for updates! Our journey will be unfolding on Instagram.

Oregon here we come!
